My professional background includes work in pediatrics, infection control, and quality improvement, giving me a broad and practical foundation for understanding the nursing profession from both the clinical and systems perspectives. I currently serve as the educator for my department, where I design and facilitate education, support nurse development, and ensure high standards of clinical practice.
For almost six years, I have been teaching BSN and MSN nursing courses, helping students at all levels strengthen their clinical judgment, master challenging content, and develop the test-taking skills necessary for both coursework and licensure success. My teaching style focuses on simplifying difficult material, strengthening clinical reasoning, and connecting theoretical content to real-world practice.
I am also in the final six months of my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, which further enhances my ability to support students with advanced concepts, evidence-based practice, and professional development.
