I am an experienced educator with over 18 years of teaching and administrative experience, currently serving as an Assistant Principal at a middle school in California. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education and a California teaching credential, along with additional certifications in instructional leadership and special education oversight. My background includes years as a classroom teacher, primarily in mathematics, where I taught students from grades 9 –12, and supported a wide range of learners, from those needing remediation to advanced-level students.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students in both one-on-one and group settings, tailoring my approach to meet individual needs. I specialize in creating engaging, student-centered lessons that build foundational skills while fostering critical thinking and confidence. My methods often include breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, integrating real-world examples, and using questioning strategies that help students articulate their thinking.
