Tutoring is an act of observation. It succeeds where normal instruction fails because it is geared toward a student's particular strengths. My best experiences as a tutor have been with the students who needed me most, learning how they needed to learn. I have been a tutor in one setting or another since childhood.

Knowledgeable and Patient Physics Tutor
Francesca has been tutoring my Freshman daughter on conceptual physics. She is very knowledgeable and experienced on the topic, and she is very organized and skilled in teaching. She is excellent at explaining the concepts and provides relevant examples in ways that are easy to understand. She also shares her notes with her students, and she makes herself available for questions via text. We are grateful for her help with developing a better understanding of physics for school.

Great Calculus 2 (college) tutor
Francesca helped me so much with MTH142, Intermediate Calculus with Analytic Geometry. She was very accommodating of my schedule with night and weekend sessions. Being on opposite coasts actually worked to our favor as I am a night person.
