I’m a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Columbia University and a QuestBridge Scholar. I tutor Calculus, Physics, Trigonometry, and SAT Math for students from middle school through early college. I know what it feels like to be capable but overwhelmed, and I also know that the right explanation and a clear plan can change everything. My goal is to help students understand the material for real, so they improve steadily and feel confident when problems look new.

I have taught and tutored in real academic and team settings. In high school and in college, I tutored my peers one on one. I was also on a Formula SAE team, where I held workshops and taught technical topics in vehicle engineering. That experience made me comfortable explaining difficult ideas in a simple way, and adjusting my approach until it clicks.
In each session, I quickly figure out what is causing the struggle. It might be missing fundamentals, weak algebra or trig, trouble turning word problems into equations, or test timing and pressure. Then we follow a clear structure. I explain the concept in plain language, we do a few examples together, and then the student practices similar problems independently while I coach their thinking. For Calculus and Physics, I focus a lot on setup skills like drawing a diagram, defining variables, choosing the right equation, and checking units. For SAT Math, we work on strategy, accuracy, and pacing so score improvements show up quickly. I take reliability seriously, and I keep sessions focused and efficient so your time is respected.
