I hold a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University, a master’s degree in Psychology from Alliant University, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Waldorf University, where I graduated magna cum laude. My academic training and clinical experience provide a strong foundation for tutoring psychology, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, psychological assessment, and the application of psychological theories to real-world situations.
Since August 2025, I have taught doctoral students in clinical psychology as an adjunct instructor at Alliant University. My classroom instruction focuses on cognitive behavioral interventions, helping adult learners connect theory with case conceptualization, ethical practice, and treatment planning. I provide instruction, mentorship, and individualized feedback to help students strengthen their understanding and clinical reasoning. My experience also includes psychological assessment and individual and group clinical work, allowing me to bring practical examples to academic material.
My tutoring approach is collaborative, structured, and encouraging. I break complex concepts into manageable steps, use relatable examples, and invite students to explain ideas in their own words. Rather than focusing only on memorization, I help students understand why a concept matters and how to apply it. I tailor explanations and practice to each student’s goals and areas of difficulty, creating a supportive space for questions. My goal is to help students build confidence, think critically, and become more independent learners.
