I strive to make make school more enjoyable for students of all ages. I especially love creating games for students to play to make practice more fun and break any negative associations with schoolwork. I am also bilingual (English and Spanish) and studied French and Italian at the undergraduate level. I believe in creating individual action plans for each student to ensure that I can personalize lessons and provide students with attention and resources to fit their unique needs.
In addition to tutoring to K-12 and college students, I also provide academic mentorship and coaching. As an academic mentor, I help students understand how their interests relate to different career paths and fields of study. I also offer application support for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. This support can involve identifying schools and programs of interest as well as preparing application essays such as resumes and personal statements.
