Physiology

Physiology

Physiology is my specialty. As a student going to medical school, I have a true appreciation for and strong understanding of physiology. I have taken general physiology and exercise physiology and know a lot about pathophysiology. I have done all the associated labs for those courses as well. My favorite organ systems are the kidney/renal as well as cardiovascular. Let me teach you physiology, and you will see why I love teaching it!
USMLE

USMLE

Triple boarded by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the following specialties: Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. I completed and passed USMLE Step 1, 2 (CK and CS), and 3 with high scores in all three exams.

Amazing Biology/MCAT Tutor! Literally a walking bio textbook

Gilad replied immediately to my request and made himself available the very next day. He's a very busy, but organized guy and was willing to accommodate my time schedule reasonably. He tutored me twice, for three hours at a time, and I must say, I got more from his tutoring than I ever could studying the content on my own. He's very patient, and will make a great doctor someday. Would recommend him immensely for anyone needing help in the biological sciences or MCAT prep.

Excellent in Every Way!

There are very smart people who "know their stuff" but don't know how to help you reach their skill level. Gilad DOES know how to teach and was a tremendous help to me. He is able to explain complicated concepts in simple terms. Gilad is always prepared and very professional. I give him my highest recommendation.

Excellent Tutor

When I selected Gilad as an AP biology tutor for my son, my simple logic was he made into the UC Berkley and will go to the medical school this fall, his AP Biology must be 5 (A) when he was in the high school that would make him easy to understand my son’s situation. My son’s following tutoring classes with him were proving we made a great decision. I share our experiences with Gilad to the parents who are also looking for an outstanding tutor for their kids: 1.Excellent response – He is not only response our last minute call for an extra schedule, but also writes his class summary in less than half hour after the class. Most time when we just arrive at home, his summary notice is on the e-mail box and reminds the kid, “Don’t forget reviewing what you learn today.” 2.Make it Simple – He writes the notes, draws a lot of figures, makes a simple key/word, even asks my son to bring the index card. These simple steps/tools are really made a big different for the kid how to understand and memory the terms and functions for the AP biology. Sometimes I listened at his class for 5-10 minutes, it made me very enjoy to his class too. He does an outstand job on tutoring. 3.Support as needs – He offers email responses to the course questions which provide a great window to my son. When he has a question, it wouldn’t need to wait for next class. 4.Understand the parent’s concerns and make us very conformable – When the class ends, if he sees me around, he always let me know the class and keeps the parents in the loop. That is a wonderful idea. From that small thing, I can see he would be a great doctor and know how to take care of his patients well. 5.From my son view – My son voted him as the best tutor he has and treats him liked a big brother.
