Bio

I am a California-based elementary educator with 10 years of teaching experience supporting students in grades 1–4. I spent 9 years teaching mild to moderate special education and am currently teaching 3rd grade. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Mild/Moderate Special Education teaching credential, and I also have experience working as an academic consultant earlier in my career.

I specialize in elementary math support, particularly using Eureka Math/EngageNY strategies, helping students build strong conceptual understanding through visuals, models, and step-by-step problem solving. I also provide reading support, including phonics, reading comprehension, and fluency, using structured and research-based instructional approaches.

I can provide homework support as part of structured math and reading instruction to reinforce classroom learning and build independence. Homework is most effective when shared in advance whenever possible.
