I recently graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a Master's degree in Mathematics, and I also hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego. Throughout my educational journey, I had the opportunity to teach students at various levels, from high school to graduate, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Throughout multiple years of TAing and tutoring, I developed a research-guided approach to teaching, ensuring the highest level of information retention in an efficient manner. My approach to teaching mathematics is to create cognitively demanding tasks and teach students methods to approach unfamiliar and complex mathematical problems. The process significantly improves students' grades and fosters a rewarding environment.
I have experience with various topics in mathematics and computer science, gained through the courses I took during my two degrees. Not only have I taken the course, but I also have experience tutoring Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Probability at the college level. I worked together with these students to help build confidence and vastly improve their grades. Additionally, I have assisted in engineering-related courses, covering CAD and 3D printing.
Overall, please reach out to me, and I'll be happy to create a specialized lesson plan tailored to your needs from a wide range of topics.
