Hey I'm Antonio, I’m a fluent Spanish speaker with over 4 years of language experience learning and using the language in real-world settings. I studied abroad for a full academic year in Spain, where I lived with a Spanish family and attended a local Spanish high school. I completed a full course load in Spanish alongside native students and earned the equivalent of a 4.0 GPA. That experience was one of the best of my life, gifting me fluency and a love for Spanish culture.

Before studying in Spain, I began learning the language on the job while working at a farmer’s market, where many of my coworkers and customers spoke Spanish. Trying to communicate in that environment meant constantly navigating awkward and often humbling situations where I didn't always understand what was being said. Having learnt spanish myself from scratch, I bring a learner's perspective to teaching and know how to provide support when things get tough.

I specialize in beginner and intermediate Spanish, conversation practice, academic support, and grammar foundations.
