I am a University student with an Associate's degree in General Education with an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and a bachelor's in linguistics. Also, I have completed my IGETC certificate, earning honors in both full-time and part-time studies, as recognized by the dean. I was a math tutor at the Center for Academic Success and a teaching assistant at my community college. I have gained valuable experience that has strengthened my tutoring skills and teaching methods. As I was tutoring these hardworking students, I also learned from them. It has helped me grow and become a better tutor and learner. I can help students who are struggling with homework by teaching them different ways to approach the problems. I can provide step-by-step solutions, test prep, and explanations of mathematical concepts and theorems. I can also tutor ESL students or anyone looking to improve their English language skills, including essay editing, proofreading, and other correction methods. I learned to help others become better English learners by teaching them to improve their speaking, reading, pronunciation, and writing. I was taught the right skills to help ESL learners succeed in their courses. Moreover, I can help high school students with physics, chemistry, and biology/ AP biology. I'm skilled in exam preparation, reading comprehension, and essay composition. I have been advancing my learning and teaching strategies, instructional methods, and educational philosophies to ensure my students excel in both their academic and professional endeavors. Furthermore, I can help college students with first-semester pre-cal-based physics, general chemistry, introductory biology, and conceptual physics.
