Hello, everyone. I am excited about being part of Wyzant's platform. A little about me, for the last couple of years I have been working as a VR film editor, film editor, and photographer. Also, I started a new career as a stand-up comedian in Montreal, and it has been a blast; I have toured in Montreal, LA, New York and Mexico. In 2013, I decided I wanted to see the world, so I have been traveling a lot; I have been to Paris, Strasbourg, Shanghai, Tokio, Lima, Machu Picchu, Venice, Lisbon, Mexico DF, Guadalajara, Turkey, Argentina, and London.

At the current moment, I am working on two books; one is a poetry book dedicated to my brother and another that has a journalistic style about Montreal devious characters.

Prior to becoming a Film Editor, I worked as an English teacher in Guatemala City where I gained an English Teacher Certificate at IGA (Instituto-Guatemalteco-Americano) While working as a teacher; I worked with different people; I taught children, teenagers, and adults. For the last 5 years, I have worked as an online tutor internationally, in higher education, and for private institutions. I am well versed in cultural communication and international trade. I have experience managing and collaborating on diverse teams to complete long-term projects as well as experience with evaluation and continuous improvements of ESL programs.

My goal now is to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will contribute positively to every student.

My ability to identify students’ natural learning styles and capitalize upon the same for imparting language skills has always been my strongest asset in this profession.

For the past five years, I have held direct responsibility for tutoring children and adults, and imparting the four language skills to them. This experience has rendered me highly well versed in planning, supervising, and implementing the given curriculum. I bring strong competency in evaluating and enhancing student progress
