In my experience, many students struggle with math not because they lack ability, but because the pace of instruction moved faster than their understanding at some point. My tutoring approach focuses on slowing things down, identifying where the confusion began, and rebuilding understanding step by step. I emphasize helping students see the patterns and logic behind the math so the concepts make sense rather than feeling like rules to memorize.
My goal as a tutor is not just to help students complete assignments or prepare for tests, but to help them build the understanding and confidence they need to succeed in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and beyond.
