I have a well-rounded educational background and a commitment to lifelong learning that informs my approach to teaching and tutoring. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which I expect to complete in March 2025. This academic experience has provided me with both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into understanding human behavior and fostering meaningful connections.

My teaching experience is both varied and enriching. While I have not taught in a traditional classroom setting, I have led training sessions and onboarding programs in my professional roles. In healthcare recruitment, I managed a team and took a hands-on approach to mentoring staff, ensuring they developed the skills and confidence necessary for success. My methods focus on tailoring the learning experience to individual needs, emphasizing clarity, patience, and active engagement. By breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, I help learners build confidence and master new skills effectively.

I have worked with adults and professionals in these capacities, but I am also inspired by the idea of working with younger students. For example, my interest in writing a multicultural children’s book and potentially starting a book club reflects my passion for fostering literacy and creativity in young minds. Whether teaching through structured lessons or more interactive, discussion-based formats, I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel valued and motivated to achieve their goals.

As a professor of religious studies, I specialize in the comparative study of world religions, focusing on the intersections of belief systems, culture, and history. My expertise spans major religious traditions such as Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism, with particular attention to their philosophical underpinnings and social impact. I have taught courses on the history of religious thought, sacred texts, and the role of religion in contemporary society. My research interests also include the exploration of religious identity, interfaith dialogue, and the influence of religion on political movements.
