I am a graduate student at New York University with a current GPA of 3.8 in the Management and Systems program. Before that, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware, earning a strong foundation in Mathematics and Economics with a GPA of 3.6. I also trained in Computer Science at NJIT, which further strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills. My academic background includes Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Econometrics, Differential Equations, and core programming courses, allowing me to tutor both high-school and college students with confidence.

I have a diverse range of teaching and tutoring experience. During my undergraduate years, I served as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for Calculus for one full year, supporting students through problem-solving sessions, grading, and one-on-one help during office hours. I have also tutored elementary school students in Chinese for four months, helping them improve vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills in an engaging and age-appropriate way. These experiences have taught me how to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and build students’ confidence step by step.

I have worked with students from elementary level through college, both in math and Chinese language. My tutoring style focuses on simplifying difficult concepts, guiding students with patience, and helping them understand why something works rather than just memorizing solutions. Whether I’m helping a younger student grasp foundational math or supporting an older student in mastering Calculus, my goal is always to make learning enjoyable, structured, and effective.
