Since then, I realized I have a passion for helping others and seeing them succeed. I come from a generation of teachers, my grandmother and mother have been teaching for 15+ years.
Currently, I work in Finance- Wealth management. I am an Investment advisor and my job is to help raise capital for my clients and build a strong foundation for them. With the industry knowledge I pertain, I believe I can help others gain financial freedom and reach their goals. My day- to day tasks are talking to people, establishing short and long-term goals, and guiding them every step of the way.
I enjoy teaching others and preparing study materials that best suit each individual. I understand that everyone is unique in their own way and what may work for one person, may not work for another. That is why I believe it's important to establish a good relationship with your students and get to know them in order to distinguish what areas they need help improving on and what areas we can build on. Tutoring has always enabled me to become creative and collaborative when it comes to expressing new ideas/subjects or in the preparation of study materials. My method consists of a comprehensive study plan that walks them through each chapter, the topics that are heavily tested, and at the end having them go through the topics we discussed and explain them to me in their own words. I believe the best way to become an expert in a subject is to interpret it in your own words. Lastly, Practice exams are key!! Because I am very detailed-oriented and outgoing. I am confident I can help each student succeed.
