Having more than 4 years of prior tutoring experience before joining WyzAnt, I have had the pleasure to work with hundreds of students at local afterschool programs as well as mathematics summer camps. I have mainly worked with elementary and middle school students during my years as a tutor and camp instructor. Aside from typical mathematics subjects, I have also tutored students in spelling, vocabulary, reading, and English. For me, helping other students with their coursework provides self – fulfillment and pushes me to become a better tutor. These tutoring experiences have given me many essential tools as a tutor. I hope to continue to perfect my skills as a tutor through more experiences. I specialize in tutoring mathematics for elementary through high school students covering topics up to trigonometry.
I am generally available on Mondays through Fridays from 5:30 - 8 pm and on the weekends from 9 - 6 pm. My base rate is $35/hour for both in-person and online sessions. I like to arrange free consultation meetings prior to starting tutoring sessions for me to get to know my students and for students to get to know a little about myself.
