Antonia B.

Antonia B. is a professional trumpet player, vocalist, songwriter, and educator in the Los Angeles area. Starting violin at age 5, Antonia quickly developed a passion for music. Captivated by the raw power and tone of brass instruments, she traded in her violin for a trumpet at age 10.

No stranger to the stage, Antonia moved to Los Angeles in her early teens and immediately began performing with professional jazz groups both as lead vocalist, as well as in the trumpet section. Antonia has been honored to perform at some of the most renowned venues across the United States, including the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion with Pat Boone and The Library of Congress.

You can catch Antonia weekly around Los Angeles in appearances with local music groups ranging from jazz and funk music to rock, R&B, and rap. Performances showcase her effortlessly melodic trumpet playing and powerful vocals. Her debut EP "Introductions" was released July 2017 under the name The Runtime and is available on all streaming platforms. Currently, she has an original pop music project under her name.

Antonia is the band and orchestra instructor at two elementary schools in the Los Angeles area. She has been training students for the past five years and has experience with ages 3 to 82. Her methods focus on creating ease while utilizing instruments to their fullest capacity. Equally as important are the foundations in music theory and history to inform and elevate each individual students playing.
