Hi! My name is Gabija, and I am an experienced tutor of 4 years. I have experience in multiple subjects and multiple age groups. I used to work at CircEsteem in Chicago for 3 years working with underprivileged youth in two sets of groups - kids ages 8-14 (which I tutored in all subjects), and high school kids, helping with math, reading, science, essays, and preparing them for college. Professional and Helpful for 2024 Algebra 2 Honors
We tried a different tutor, but she it didn’t go well. Gabija answered my second request for help saying she was familiar with the current methods they are requiring students to know, which involves synthetic division and substitution. She spent time preparing for the lesson, which I appreciate, since I sent it ahead of time. I overheard some of the lesson and I liked that she took charge of teaching the material I sent vs asking the student to guide so we my daughter received a lot of instruction within an hour. She is feeling better about the test tomorrow. Thanks!
