I’ve had the absolute pleasure of teaching guitar to beginner and intermediate players since the year 2000 and I’d be thrilled to teach you!

I grew up in New Zealand and I've been playing guitar since 1996.
Since then I've had 7 teachers throughout the world who've taught me a wealth of knowledge regarding guitar technique and music theory that I'm honored to pass on today.
I’ve studied both diatonic and modal harmony.
One of my favorite teachers had a very all-round approach to his teaching, and because of that, I'm always inspired to teach my students the same way, unique to their goals.
I've had students of all ages, each with their own challenges that we worked through together week by week. All of my tutoring has been done independently.

If you, or your child, have a vision for your guitar playing future, I will help you build a solid foundation towards it. I will personalize everything, lesson by lesson.
I’ll keep you inspired while developing the fundamentals of technique and music theory by incorporating the songs and solos you wish to play.

I've played in many bands and accompanied many singers over the last two decades, between Australia and the USA where I am now based (Burbank, CA).
I have a diploma in audio engineering from SAE and in 2017 I finally built my own home recording studio where I am currently producing my own music. I will happily guide you through the process of building your own home studio if that’s what you wish to do.

I am accepting students aged 9 & up.
Ideally you will come to me, however, if you live in or near Burbank, I can come to you. Alternatively, I can check availability to travel further. Travel costs additional.
