I am a recent graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, And Television with a degree in Playwriting. I am passionate about helping students with their studies in English, Writing, Theater, College Essays, and related fields. I care deeply about writing, both academic and creative, and have the skills to help students improve their understanding of these. I am a winner of the California Young Playwright's Festival, YoungArts Writing Award, The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Region 8, and UCLA's Judith and Milton R. Stark Scholarship for writing.

I have worked with children in various settings for the last 7 years and have experience with students age 8-18 years of age. In the past I have tutored privately for families I nannied for, and have also taught creative writing and playwriting in academic settings such as Shalhevet High School in Los Angeles. I have also worked with High School juniors and seniors who are working to craft the optimal college essays for a successful admissions process.

I employ a strategies of patience, calm, and understanding when working with students. I meet each student where they are at and tailor my methods to their individual learning styles and needs. I am very experienced with students who struggle with ADHD, as I myself was able to overcome this in my educational career and use my differences to my advantage.
