Hello I’m Tony. I’m a Nigerian-born, Cameroon-raised, LA based actor and filmmaker who recently completed a 5-season recurring arc on the Chuck Lorre-created CBS hit comedy Bob Hearts Abishola.
As a working actor with over 15 years of professional experience, I’m well versed in various acting and directing techniques, in addition to the rigors of indie productions. I can help with fundamental things for a beginner, like working on monologues, to more demanding audition prep, scene study and script writing notes for the advanced. A particular strength of mine is preparing newcomers for the overall business of acting.

I am equally as passionate about soccer as I am about acting, and the game of soccer has been a part of my life since I was 8 years old. I remember watching every game of the 1986 World Cup held in Mexico. I not only fell in love with the beautiful game, but I began to understand tactics, positional play, individual brilliance and teamwork.

I played on my school team in High School and College and have been part of various semi-professional leagues in Minnesota and SoCal. I have coached my daughter’s Under-10 team and currently coach Cameroon Soccer Los Angeles (Camsola); a Non-Profit mentoring organization. Soccer is fun and hard work and my approach to coaching is that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. I cover “fun”damentals, technique, strategy, fitness and positional play in group or one-on-one settings.

Spending 6 years as a substitute teacher for High School and Middle School helped me hone my strengths as a collaborator and effective communicator. I love working with kids and in my classrooms, I established an environment where students were excited about learning.
I’m a quick learner with the ability to adapt my teaching and coaching methods to suit the needs of every individual. I am looking forward to our first session, where we’ll cover many things you weren’t taught in acting class or at a soccer camp.
