I hold a B.A. in Human Development and bring over eight years of combined experience supporting student success in elementary education. I began as an instructional aide, where I worked closely with both general and special education classrooms for four years. Since then, I have served as a substitute teacher for Fullerton Elementary School District, consistently entrusted with multiple long-term assignments, including a four-month placement in 2024.
I’ve taught students ranging from transitional kindergarten to sixth grade in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My teaching style emphasizes flexibility, relationship-building, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. I’m praised for my professionalism, dedication, and ability to connect with students, staff, and families alike. I often personalize instruction based on student needs and interests, creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
As shared by my administrator:
“You always go above and beyond, turning challenges into opportunities—aka making lemonade out of lemons… Your instincts were spot-on in knowing what to do to help students succeed. The students and parents were sad to say goodbye. We definitely have you at the top of our list for future needs.”
I’m currently pursuing my teaching credential and master’s degree, and I’m passionate about continuing to serve elementary learners through tutoring, especially in virtual formats. I’d love to bring my classroom experience, energy, and care to your children.
