I earned my B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley, where my coursework included Data Structures and Algorithms, Discrete Mathematics and Probability Theory, Computer Architecture, and Circuit Design and Theory. I now work as a software engineer building backend applications with Python and JavaScript, so I use the concepts I teach every day.

My teaching experience comes from two years as a teaching assistant for Introduction to Programming Concepts and Data Structures. During that time, I supported more than 80 college students, mostly ages 18 and up, by leading weekly discussion sections, holding one-on-one and small-group office hours, and grading assignments, which helped improve course completion rates. Working with students at very different levels, from those writing their first program to those struggling with linked lists, trees, and recursion, taught me how to find exactly where someone is stuck and adjust my explanation to fit them.

My approach is patient and hands-on. I start by learning what a student already understands, then break hard topics into smaller steps using diagrams, visual walkthroughs of how data structures change, and live coding where we solve problems together instead of me just giving answers. For math, I build intuition before formulas so the ideas actually stick. Whether you are preparing for an exam, working through a tough assignment, or getting ready for technical interviews, I tailor each session to your goals, so you leave confident and able to solve problems on your own.

Approved Subjects

Calculus

Calculus

I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley and have completed the full calculus sequence, Calculus 1, 2, and 3, applying it throughout my engineering coursework and my current work as a software engineer. As a college teaching assistant for Calculus 1 and 2, I led discussion sections, held office hours, and graded assignments, which taught me exactly where students get stuck and how to break difficult problems into clear, simple steps. I work with students at every level, including those who find math frustrating or feel far behind, and I'm happy to start from the basics like algebra and functions to build a strong foundation before moving forward at a comfortable pace. I can help with everything from pre-calculus review to limits, derivatives, integrals, series, and multivariable topics, whether you're in high school AP Calculus or a college-level course.
Computer Programming

Computer Programming

I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley and work as a software engineer building full-stack, cloud, and AI-powered applications in Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL. As a college teaching assistant for introductory programming and data structures courses, I supported more than 50 students through discussion sections, office hours, and grading, and I also recently cleared Google's full software engineer interview process through to team matching. I love working with complete beginners and students who feel stuck, starting from the basics like variables, loops, and functions and building up at a comfortable pace until the logic clicks. I can help with homework and class projects, debugging, object-oriented programming, web development, and coding interview prep.
Computer Science

Computer Science

I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley, where I completed coursework in data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, database systems, computer security, and discrete math and probability. As a college teaching assistant, I supported more than 50 students in introductory programming and data structures courses by leading weekly discussion sections, holding office hours, and grading assignments. I now work as a software engineer building full-stack, cloud, and AI-powered applications in Python, Java, TypeScript, and SQL. I can help with intro programming, data structures and algorithms, debugging, and class projects, and I use real-world examples from industry to make concepts click.
Data Structures

Data Structures

I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley, where I completed coursework in data structures and algorithms along with discrete math and probability. As a college teaching assistant for a data structures course, I supported more than 50 students by leading weekly discussion sections, holding office hours, and grading assignments. I recently cleared Google's full software engineer interview process through to team matching, which tests data structures and algorithms in depth, and I use these concepts every day in my work as a software engineer. I can help with arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, heaps, hash tables, graphs, Big-O analysis, and technical interview prep.
Python

Python

I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley and use Python every day as a software engineer, building backend APIs with FastAPI, cloud automation on AWS, and AI applications with tools like LangGraph and retrieval-augmented generation. As a college teaching assistant for introductory programming and data structures courses, I supported more than 50 students through discussion sections, office hours, and grading, and I recently cleared Google's full software engineer interview process through to team matching. I enjoy working with complete beginners, starting from the basics like variables, loops, lists, and functions, and building up at a comfortable pace until writing code feels natural. I can help with homework and class projects, debugging, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, automation scripts, data analysis, and coding interview prep in Python.
