I graduated cum laude from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Business Management and am now a licensed real estate agent. While my professional path has led me into real estate, I have always been deeply passionate about education and working with children. I believe strong reading and writing skills are the foundation for success, and I love helping students discover confidence and joy in their learning.
Although I haven’t formally taught in a classroom, I bring extensive leadership and mentoring experience from both school and college, including multiple leadership roles throughout K–12 and university. These experiences helped me develop patience, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication — all essential qualities for tutoring. I tailor each session to the student’s unique learning style, making lessons interactive, fun, and easy to follow while keeping students focused and motivated.
My approach to tutoring is centered on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and building confidence in their reading and writing. I particularly enjoy working with elementary and middle school students because these years are so formative. Whether improving reading comprehension, strengthening writing skills, or developing effective study habits, I am committed to helping each student grow not only academically but also in confidence and curiosity. My goal is to make reading and writing both accessible and enjoyable, so students leave sessions feeling empowered and proud of what they’ve accomplished!
