High School Math, Physics, and Computer Science Tutor

Erica W.

Hi, I'm Erica. As former Vice President, and now Mentor, of the Santa Ynez High School robotics team, I've had many opportunities to teach kids about math and science. I have completed my associate's degree in computer science and mathematics and I'm currently working on a Bachelors in math with an emphasis on teaching. I know how many different kinds of kids think, and how to adapt a lesson to fit their needs. I also like to add in real-world applications of concepts to keep the kids interested.

I've had a love for math all my life, and that's something I want to use to inspire students. I've passed the highest level math classes available in high school, as well as the AP calculus tests, so I know how these classes work and what students need to be prepared for them.

Every student has the potential to succeed, and I want to help foster that. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
