Hi there! I’m Lilith - a TEFL-certified English tutor and professional opera singer with over 5 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from the Manhattan School of Music and completed my TEFL certification through the International TEFL Academy, including two 30-hour specialty courses in tutoring English and teaching English online. My unique approach helps students improve their spoken English through the power of voice; blending language learning with vocal techniques to build fluency, clarity, and confidence.

I work with students ages 12 and up (including adults!) who are eager to strengthen their English communication skills, whether they’re preparing for school, travel, performance, or everyday conversation. Many of my students are singers or creative learners who benefit from a more expressive, interactive approach to language learning. My lessons are highly personalized and collaborative: we focus on clear pronunciation, strong speaking habits, and meaningful communication. You don’t need any prior music experience - just curiosity and a willingness to explore language through sound and expression!

I’ve taught in classrooms, small groups, summer camps, and one-on-one settings, including with many neurodivergent learners. I adapt my teaching style to meet individual learning needs, whether that means adjusting pace, incorporating movement, or creating visual supports. I believe every learner deserves a space where they can grow their confidence and celebrate their unique voice, both literally and linguistically.
