Math, Engineering, and Spanish Tutor

I recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering and have experience supporting university students in mathematics, programming, computer engineering, and mechatronics. For approximately a year and a half, I worked as an undergraduate reader and grader for several university courses, including mathematics, statistics, programming, and computer engineering. I also spent an academic term tutoring a university-level mechatronics course, where I helped students understand laboratory assignments, troubleshoot hardware and code, and work through technical concepts step by step.

My engineering education has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, robotics, electronics, programming, CAD, and embedded systems. Through my coursework and hands-on engineering projects, I have worked with mechanical design, electronic circuits, microcontrollers, sensors, and technical problem-solving. My experience reviewing student work has also helped me recognize common mistakes and explain difficult concepts in clearer, more approachable ways.

During lessons, I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind each step rather than simply arriving at the correct answer. I adapt my explanations to the student’s current level, learning style, and goals, and I strive to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish and can assist students who are learning Spanish or who benefit from explanations in either language. Whether a student is preparing for an exam, completing an assignment, reviewing a challenging topic, or building confidence, I tailor each lesson to the areas in which they need the most support.
