My name is April, I’m an animation industry veteran with 10+ years of experience designing characters, props, VFX, and backgrounds for shows like Rick and Morty, Legend of Vox Machina, Batman, and Transformers. In addition to my industry work, I’ve spent years teaching art to students of all levels, from middle schoolers wanting to draw their favorite characters to college graduates seeking career assistance. I’m proud to say several of my students have gone on to work in animation studios across North America and Japan.
My approach integrates my industry experience while focusing on foundational art training with encouragement, clarity, and fun. Every lesson is tailored to the goals, skill level, and learning pace of the student, helping them master the fundamentals and strengthen their own creative voice.
