Throughout college I sought a teaching degree, and I thought that's where I would end up after my four undergraduate years. My ideal landing would have been teaching a high school English class, though my practicums all hand me student teaching in elementary settings. I ended up switching gears at the end, which any college student would confirm happens time and time again when it come to selecting just one degree.

I graduated with a degree in English, and today I work full time as a fundraising consultant. I do still have a passion for teaching, and anything English related--reading, writing, editing, grammar, and the list goes on.
Aside from the hundreds of hours I logged in elementary classes throughout my college teaching practicums, I also tutored women in my sorority. It was an excellent part time job, and I enjoyed helping others refine their writing assignments, which included anything from 500 word articles to 20 page research papers. I was happy to do it!
My schedule is flexible, so I encourage you to reach out and find out if I would be a good fit for your tutoring needs!
