I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and am a licensed teacher with more than eleven years of experience working with elementary and middle school students. Throughout my career I have taught in both traditional public school classrooms and virtual learning environments, developing expertise in mathematics, reading, writing, science, and social studies. In addition to classroom teaching, I have worked as a curriculum editor and instructional designer, creating standards-aligned lessons and assessments for students and teachers. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how students learn and how to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
For the past several years I have provided one-on-one online tutoring for students across the United States, primarily serving elementary and middle school learners. My tutoring focuses on building confidence while identifying gaps in understanding and creating personalized instruction that helps students master difficult concepts. I regularly work with students who need additional support in mathematics, reading comprehension, writing, study skills, and homework assistance. My teaching approach combines direct instruction, guided practice, questioning strategies, and positive encouragement to help students become independent learners rather than simply memorize answers.
In addition to tutoring, I currently serve as the Head of School for a private Christian academy serving students from infancy through elementary school. In this role I oversee curriculum, instructional quality, teacher coaching, and student academic success. My experience working with students in classroom settings, one-on-one tutoring, curriculum development, and educational leadership allows me to tailor instruction to each student's learning style and academic goals.
