I am a private tutor with 10 years of experience specializing in essay writing, test prep, and college counseling. I am studying towards a joint master's and bachelor's degree at Yale University. I attended a private high school which consistently ranks within the top 10 schools in the US. I usually cannot take many students at once, but I have several openings for the first time. I am excited to meet with you and talk through your needs!

I like to make my own curriculum when it comes to essay writing, and my goal as your tutor is to ensure that you will not need me in the future. Depending on your time availability, I work with you through a personalized curriculum that focuses on critical essays but covers narrative writing, history essays, poetry, journalism, and creative writing. My students have gone on to win awards at various levels in writing competitions.

I was fortunate enough to receive top scores in and have teaching experience for the ISEE, PSAT (National Merit), SAT/ACT, and multiple APs. All of my previous students have scored in the 1500-1600 range on the SAT, and I hope to keep this streak going. I also do college counseling for students grades 10-12; I will help you evaluate your current profile and show you your weaker aspects to develop.

All of my tutoring is through Zoom. My classes are one-on-one, though I can accommodate group tutoring for content-based classes (i.e., you and others need supplemental classes on history/science AP exams). I always begin with a consult; if you continue with me, the consult is free. The rate will be discussed depending on the type of tutoring you need.
