About Yuanmin

Bio

Hello, I am Yuanmin. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. After that, I went to UC Davis and graduated with a Masters in Structural Engineering.

I tutored Math and Statistics in College for one year and was also a TA in graduate school.
I have been tutoring on Wyzant for over two years now.
I am also a teacher in the Bay area with specialization in Math and special education.

Hello, I am Yuanmin. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. After that, I went to UC Davis and graduated with a Masters in Structural Engineering.

I tutored Math and Statistics in College for one year and was also a TA in graduate school.
I have been tutoring on Wyzant for over two years now.
I am also a teacher in the Bay area with specialization in Math and special education.

I got straight As with a 3.8 GPA for my courses in college including calculus, Statistics, Data Analysis with R and Chemistry. I also took GRE for my graduate school and scored 159 on the math section. Currently, I am tutoring Statistics with or without R, Data Analysis/Science with or without R, R, R studio, Geometry, Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus, General Chemistry, SAT, ACT, GMAT and GRE Math, Engineering and Environmental Science.

These are the goals I hope to reach for each lesson with my students:
1) My students can solve the problems after the lesson.
2) My students feel more prepared and confident about the course or the topic.
2) My students had a happy learning experience! I believe creating a pleasant learning experience is as important as other aspects of teaching.
