Experienced Statistics and Mathematics tutor

I am an experienced Statistics and Mathematics tutor with over 10 years of experience tutoring both in-person and online. I have earned a B.A. in Statistics and a B.A. in Cognitive Science with a computational modeling concentration from the University of California, Berkeley. I specialize in tutoring College and High School Statistics, as well as High School and College Mathematics, from Algebra to Calculus. I have tutored on a one-on-one basis for private companies, as well as in College preparatory programs, since being a student myself. Since then, I have been supplementing my in-person work with tutoring online, both over Skype and via applications. I have developed techniques that allow students to learn just as effectively in a virtual environment (audio, video, or text) as they would in person.

The individual student's needs and unique learning style are at the core of my tutoring approach to each of my students. Concepts involving probability and statistics can be daunting at first, as they definitely have been to me once, but I can help you get through them with support through the fundamentals and with helpful practice. I can also help with the technological aspect of Mathematics and Statistics classes, including SPSS, Excel (Data analysis), and graphing (TI-84) calculators. Hearing student success stories after passing important classes or doing well on important tests is the best part of the job.
