Great tutor!
We hired Ben first for AP US History, and later also to assist with Math Analysis. Our teenage children found him extremely approachable, easy to converse with, and both said he helped them understand the material in a much clearer manner. I worked with Ben for several weeks as I prepared to take the GRE. From the beginning he was enthusiastic and encouraging. He has a good sense of humor -- a must, in my opinion, when it comes to tackling challenging material! He's very knowledgeable about a variety of subjects; although our initial focus was the writing portion of the GRE, we ended up working on math together, as well. What I appreciate most about Ben is his responsive, flexible approach to teaching: he conducted our sessions based on what I most needed, and how I best learn and practice. Not only did Ben help me to receive higher scores on the GRE than I'd hoped, he helped to make the preparation process meaningful and enjoyable!
