I'm currently an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley in the College of Letters & Science, with a strong academic background across a variety of subjects. I graduated from Northwood High School in Irvine, California, where I maintained a 4.4 GPA, and completed numerous AP courses, including Statistics, English Literature, Spanish, Government, and U.S. History. I also took college-level courses through Irvine Valley College while still in high school. My academic experience has given me a strong foundation in math, writing, reading comprehension, and test preparation.

I have experience teaching and mentoring younger students through my volunteer work as a youth soccer coach with Laguna United FC. Over two summers, I helped coach more than 300 young athletes, leading drills, explaining new concepts, and working with players individually to help them improve. Although this experience was primarily in athletics, it taught me how to communicate clearly, be patient, and adjust my teaching approach depending on how someone learns best.

As a tutor, I focus on making difficult concepts easier to understand rather than having students simply memorize information. I like to break down problems step by step, use examples, and encourage students to ask questions until they feel comfortable with the material. Whether a student needs homework assistance, help preparing for an exam, or support building stronger study habits, my goal is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where they can improve academically and gain confidence in their abilities.
