My academic and professional journey has been defined by a commitment to mastering the "first principles" of engineering and mathematics. I am currently finishing my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley and will be continuing as a PhD Fellow this fall, focusing on the computational methods of complex material modeling. Throughout my time in the UC system, I have maintained a standard of high-level quantitative excellence, exemplified by my perfect score of 170 on the Quantitative section of the GRE. This rigorous academic foundation is bolstered by two summers of industry experience as a crashworthiness Analysis Engineering intern at Tesla, where I applied advanced physics and calculus to solve critical safety challenges in vehicle design.

My tutoring philosophy centers on bridging the gap between abstract theoretical concepts and real-world engineering applications. My methodology involves breaking down complex problems into their fundamental components, ensuring that students develop an intuitive understanding rather than relying on rote memorization. I have extensive experience providing mentorship in a variety of settings, ranging from private one-on-one sessions to volunteer academic coaching for engineering student organizations. I aim to primarily work with high school students tackling advanced AP Physics and Calculus tracks, as well as undergraduates in rigorous engineering programs. I specialize in helping students who are preparing for high-stakes standardized testing, entering the competitive atmosphere of top-tier universities, or are seeking guidance on how these concepts apply in advanced industry or academia.

My goal in every session is to not only help a student master the task at hand but to equip them with the analytical mindset necessary for a successful career in science and engineering. Since my tutoring is personalized to every student, I welcome feedback and suggestions to make our sessions as valuable as possible.
