Hi, I’m Jasmine, a sophomore at UC Berkeley majoring in neuroscience. I help middle and high school students craft standout applications, strengthen their extracurricular profiles, and pursue competitive academic opportunities. Having recently gone through college admissions myself, I gained acceptance to multiple top-20 universities and received over $640,000 in scholarships.

For students applying to college, I offer hands-on support with Common App personal statements, supplemental essays, UC Personal Insight Questions, activities and honors lists, scholarship essays, and final application reviews. I guide students through brainstorming, outlining, writing, and revising, with a focus on authentic storytelling, thoughtful reflection, and clear, compelling responses. I also completed Harvard University’s in-person course, The Introduction to the College Essay.

For middle school students and high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, I provide personalized college preparation and extracurricular planning. I review students’ academics, activities, leadership, service, and awards, then recommend specific opportunities—such as research, volunteering, competitions, and summer programs—to help them explore their interests and build a stronger application over time. I also help students research colleges, build balanced college lists, and create application timelines.

Beyond college admissions, I assist with essays and applications for competitive summer programs, internships, research programs, scholarships, and leadership opportunities. From choosing programs to polishing final essays, I help students present their interests, accomplishments, and goals effectively.

Amazing college essay tutor

Jasmine was a fantastic help with my college essay. I came to her just 5 days before the deadline, and she willingly accommodated me and did everything she could to help me succeed. She did a deep dive into multiple drafts of my essay, pulling out what worked from each. She validated and applauded me on my strengths and constructively worked me through my weaknesses. This balance left me confident in myself yet appreciative of Jasmine's expertise. She then worked through my essay with me. My FAVORITE part of working with Jasmine was how considerate she is. Despite this being a short run of services, she gave me lists of 'homework' to do each time. This allowed me to fix and work through the easier things myself and be able to utilize the entire 60 minutes to take in Jasmine's expertise. This consciousness of my money and my product is something that I believe sets Jasmine apart from many other tutors and people in this field. She helped me preserve my voice, story, and authenticity, while pushing my execution, structure, and prose to excellence. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Choose Jasmine!!!
