Hello Humans!
I am a biotechnology graduate from UC Santa Cruz with a strong background in biology, chemistry, and ecology. My passion for teaching started during my time at UCSC, where I led classes and workshops on foraging, ecology, and the natural sciences. I have experience breaking down complex scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible way, helping students develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the subject matter.
Throughout college, I often found myself in the role of an informal tutor, guiding my peers through challenging coursework in STEM subjects. My friends in my study group frequently told me I had a knack for explaining difficult topics clearly and that I should become a tutor—so here I am! I take a patient and interactive approach to tutoring, tailoring my teaching methods to fit each student’s learning style. Whether working one-on-one or in a group setting, I aim to build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills in my students.
If you're looking for a tutor who can make science feel approachable, and engaging I’d love to help!
