Hi! I'm Alex. I have a B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles and am currently pursuing my J.D. at University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. I received a top score of 173 on the LSAT and want to pass on what I have learned to the next generation of test takers. My tutoring career started in 2020.
I have extensive experience in tutoring. In my undergraduate studies, I taught history, statistics, and pre-calculus to students with learning disabilities. From over a year of tutoring in that position, I found out that works best for students is understanding their needs and how I can help get them there. That's why when I tutor students, I develop a specialized plan curtailed to their specific learning needs, which I do for every student I help on the LSAT.
As to my own journey for the LSAT, I started at a low score: 135. It was through grit and determination that I ended up where I am. It is why I firmly believe this test is learnable and that through developing learning techniques together we can get you to your goal score. I gave up multiple times during my LSAT journey, however, things changed when I created my own personalized study plan and I ended up at a 173. Thus, I plan to do the same for my future students.
I look forward to hearing from you and let me know if you have any questions!
