I am a graduate of Stanford University and currently completing my Master of Applied Data Science at the University of Michigan. With nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry as a product management leader, data analyst, and data engineer, I bring both strong technical expertise and a passion for education to my tutoring. I specialize in helping students build confidence and mastery in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Python, and Data Science. My teaching approach emphasizes conceptual understanding and methodical, step-by-step problem solving, so students not only learn how to get the right answers but also understand why the methods work. I aim to make math and coding approachable, engaging, and relevant to the real world.

Over the past several years, I’ve worked with students ranging from middle school through high school. Recently, I helped a freshman raise his Algebra grade from a B- to a B+ in less than two months by focusing on structured reasoning and practical problem-solving techniques. I also guided a high school senior through learning Python from the ground up, resulting in them building a fully functional calculator app for their capstone project. Whether I’m helping students strengthen their foundational math skills or introducing them to programming and data science, my goal is always to help them develop clarity, confidence, and genuine enjoyment in learning.

I believe that effective tutoring should not only improve grades but also inspire curiosity and independent thinking. Every student learns differently, and I take time to tailor my lessons to their individual pace and learning style. My ultimate goal is to equip students with the problem-solving habits and mindset that will serve them far beyond the classroom — skills they can apply in school, in their future studies, and throughout their lives.
