Hello! My name is Paulina. I graduated from Chapman with a Master's in Teaching and multiple subject credential in 2020. I worked as a support teacher for the past five years in Orange County. Teaching is my passion because I love connecting with students, making academic material understandable, and helping students improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills.

For reading, I use activities that help build students' phonological awareness. This improves their decoding abilities and provides a solid foundation for reading and writing. For letter and number formation, I use research-based strategies that allow students to learn letter and number formation in a logical and systematic way.

For math, I ask students to explain the math concept, problem, and their solution so students may build their math understanding. I also use manipulatives during math instruction so students better understand the concepts.
