My name is Martin, I am a bilingual educator. I have been teaching and tutoring ESL and Spanish for more than 15 years since I started working in Central America.

I became Spanish tutor after earning an Associate's degree in Spanish Education from the San Vicente Technical Institute in 1985, and I have worked as bilingual tutor for elementary, middle and high schools.

My name is Martin, I am a bilingual educator. I have been teaching and tutoring ESL and Spanish for more than 15 years since I started working in Central America.

I became Spanish tutor after earning an Associate's degree in Spanish Education from the San Vicente Technical Institute in 1985, and I have worked as bilingual tutor for elementary, middle and high schools.
In 1993, I earned a Bachelor's degree in ESL Education from the University of El Salvador. So, I have been working as a Spanish-ESL tutor/ instructor. Also, I have gotten the TESOL Certificate from the Arizona State University.

Since 2005, I have been working as bilingual tutor (independent contractor) for the Cesar Chavez Education Institute at various sites: Terrace Elementary School, Almond Tree Middle School, and Cecil M. School in Delano, California. In addition, I have been working for the Farm workers Institute for Education and Leadership Development (FIELD)associated with Taft College, Monterey College, and Butte College as ESL instructor in Bakersfield, Wasco, Shafter, Gridley, CA.

I apply a variety of educational strategies, teaching techniques and appropriate materials including technology to the learning process in order to enhance the student's second language skills.

I am a professional educator because I already earned the Bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of El Salvador in 1993, and I have been working as ESL Instructor/Tutor not only in Central America, but also in the United States since 1994. In addition, I have gotten the preliminary Teaching Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in 2003. And also I have worked for the Farm workers Institute for Education and Leadership Development (FIELD) in association with Taft College, Monterey Peninsula College, and Butte College as ESL Instructor since 2006.

I got an Associate's degree in Spanish Education from the San Vicente Technical Institute in El Salvador and also I got a Bachelor's degree in ESL Education from the University of El Salvador. I worked for middle and high schools in Central America teaching Spanish for more than ten years and I have been working for Maryland Child Services, the Cesar Chavez Education Institute and the Farm Workers Institute for Education and Leadership Development in the United States, as Spanish/ESL Tutor since 2000. I implement a variety of educational strategies, teaching techniques, appropriate didactic materials and technology in order to help the student to enhance her/his Spanish language skills.
