I have several years of experience working with elementary students in both whole group and small group instruction, as well as one-on-one support. My teaching focuses on building strong foundational skills while also helping students develop confidence in their abilities. I regularly use strategies such as guided practice, scaffolded instruction, and visual supports like graphic organizers to help students better understand and retain concepts.
I have worked with a wide range of learners, including students who need additional academic support, English learners, and students who benefit from differentiated instruction. My experience includes helping students improve reading comprehension, strengthen writing skills, and build fluency and problem-solving strategies in math.
My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and growing at their own pace while still being challenged to reach their full potential.
