**Math and physics don’t have to feel overwhelming - **I make complex concepts clear and approachable. I’m a math and physics educator with a master’s degree in physics and over 10 years of experience helping students succeed in math and science. I specialize in algebra, calculus, and physics, with a focus on building problem-solving skills and confidence. My teaching style is supportive and tailored to each student’s need - whether preparing for exams, catching up in class, or aiming to excel.
I have experience teaching students with ADHD and have direct experience keeping students on task one-on-one and in groups. I've taught Pre-K up through 6th grade as well as high school and university students the fundamentals of physics, algebra, and trigonometry. Outside of education, my professional experience includes both computational modeling of physics and math problems and experimental design, diagnostic design and calibration, and analysis of experimental data. My favorite approach when tutoring is to give the student just enough scaffolding and information for them to come to the correct conclusion themselves, helping to build their confidence in the subject matter and make them more at ease doing coursework and testing on their own. My primary goal is to teach the student well enough that they no longer need my help.
