I am currently a college freshman majoring in Biology, with a strong academic background in mathematics and science, including algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, and physics. Throughout high school and into college, I consistently earned strong grades in these subjects and developed a deep understanding of both the concepts and problem-solving strategies students need to succeed. I am especially comfortable breaking down complex topics into simple, logical steps and explaining ideas in a way that makes them less intimidating and more approachable.

I have prior experience tutoring students in math, calculus, pre-calculus, statistics, and physics through one-on-one sessions and informal peer tutoring. Most of the students I’ve worked with were middle school, high school, and early college level. My tutoring experience includes helping students prepare for exams, complete homework, and build confidence in subjects they previously struggled with. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding, reinforcing fundamentals, and teaching students how to approach problems independently rather than just memorizing formulas.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and results-driven. I adapt my explanations based on each student’s learning style, whether they need visual examples, step-by-step walkthroughs, or real-world applications to understand the material. I aim not only to help students pass their classes, but to help them truly understand the subject so they can consistently perform well and earn strong grades on their own.
