I studied at the USC Rossier School of Education earning my Masters Degree in Education. I have an exceptional background and success with English grammar, writing, and test prep. I scored in the 99th percentile in English on my college entrance exams (ACT and SAT) and received the highest score (5) on both the AP English language and English Literature exams. Additionally, I have experience tutoring peers to improve their scores on these exams.
As a graduate of the University of California, Davis, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development, with an emphasis in Education and Psychology. As a teaching intern in several schools in the Davis area, I participated in observational research to study the developmental differences that occur between individual children, and applied innovative teaching strategies with students in a classroom environment. Under the direction of a Master Teacher, I gained hands-on teaching experience with students, aided them with their various writing assignments, and helped them improve their skills and overall confidence.

As someone who is passionate about the English language and writing, I look forward to sharing my skills in these areas to my students. With my guidance and practice, students will begin to see an improvement in their areas of weakness and gain a greater confidence in their writing and English language skills.

As a professional tutor and credentialed Substitute Teacher, I have taught multiple subjects and core curriculum (math, English, Science, writing, social studies) to students.
