I am an accomplished and highly knowledgeable individual with a passion for teaching. I have worked in the healthcare and biotechnology industries as a scientist for over 10 years and therefore, do possess an in-depth knowledge in the subjects of Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics and Math (up to Pre-calculus). Not only am I knowledgeable, but I also have a very unique and interesting way of providing information to others. I actually very much enjoy sharing knowledge. It is like a second nature to me.
Now that I have some extra time on hand, I have decided to provide my services as a tutor to help out students struggling in the subjects I have mentioned above. If the student follows my instructions carefully and puts in the effort I ask of him or her, I guarantee a marked improvement in the subject he or she is struggling with or even put them way ahead of others. In the competitive world of today, any edge you can gain over others gets you so much closer to success. If you or someone you know needs any help in learning the subject they are struggling with or want to get an extra edge, please get in touch with me right away!
P.S. I have also served in the US Navy and Marines and scored very high on the ASVAB. Therefore, if you need to improve your score in ASVAB, get in touch with me about that as well. The tutor has poor teaching methods. This instructor also does not come to teach the lesson fully prepared with the knowledge that is needed to complete the lesson.
These comments are completely unfair and utterly untrue. I have provided my services as expected and beyond. As a matter of fact, Tessie S. used my services for full 3 months last year and never once complained about it and then requested my services again this year. If I was such a bad tutor, why did she use me for so long and then why would she request my services again? Actually, most of the times, I was not given any guidance on what lessons needed to be discussed. How can anyone teach proficiently when they do not even know what they are going to teach? Moreover, she herself has no idea what Chemistry is all about and therefore, she had unfair expectations about how this subject is supposed to be taught. By giving me such poor feedback, she is just exacting revenge from me because she did not want to pay me for the extra effort I spent on doing the homework assignments.
It is too bad that people like Tessie S. like to exact their revenge by destroying other people's livelihood by posting such negative comments. If anyone at all pays any attention to Tessie's comments, they are not only doing injustice to me, but to themselves as well as they will miss out on an excellent tutor who wants to teach to help others learn better and not just to earn money.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
