Hi, My name is Neha D. I double majored in Psychology and Neuroscience at UC Riverside, and I graduated Cum Laude. Going through my experience, I have spent over six years teaching English to students of all ages. I was a one-on-one English tutor for five different families for a year in High school. I also worked as an English and Math Tutor at Eye Level Learning Center, teaching students aged 6-16 in groups of 4-6 for three years. In terms of essay writing, I have helped 3 students as a one-on-one writing tutor for two years as well. As a one-on-one math tutor with Adam's Tutoring, I taught subjects such as Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Botany, and Anatomy for high school and college students. I worked for a year at Excel Academy in Henderson Nevada as well, where I taught students both one-on-one and in small groups. My classes in Excel Academy consisted of the usual English and Math but also included subjects such as Pre-Calculus, Statistics Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Through my tutoring journey, I've learned how to make learning fun and easy to grasp. I'm all about creating a positive and collaborative learning vibe.
