I’m Christian! I graduated with a degree in psychology and minor in biology. While in high school and college, I began tutoring students of all ages in statistics, human anatomy, psychology, and various science classes. I continued tutoring once I got to graduate school and completed a master’s degree in psychology. After teaching collegiate course for four years, I decided to complete a degree in science education. It was here that I learned all sorts of strategies for learning and comprehending science concepts, while improving one’s performance in class.
For seven years, I taught high science course (including anatomy, biology, and chemistry). This included two years teaching internationally in China. I enjoy working with high school and college students. I really enjoyed helping students navigate their studies, perform well on tests, and prepare for college entrance exams. Recently, I was hired at a liberal arts college as a psychology professor. I am very familiar with strategies to improve learning and memory retention.
I want to help my students as much as possible, by offering them 1-on-1 tutoring, helpful online resources, and advice on how to make the most of their study time. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson.
